NACJ-UDUS Sets To Hold CJID Training for Campus Journalists

  CJID Flyer  Biliaminu Manne reports,  In a bid to enhance the knowledge of Campus Journalists and promoting them on evidence-based reporting in tertiary institutions across West Africa, the National Association Of Campus Journalists (NACJ) at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) sets to host the Centre for Journalism And Innovation Development, or CJID, formerly PTCIJ (Premium Times Centre for Investigative Journalism) for four-day intensive training to the students from 16th October till 19th October 2023 at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, Main Campus. Despite UDUS SU-CTC Intervention, Zamfara Hostel Residents Laments Improper Development Outcome

Zamfara Hall (Hostel) Biliaminu Manne reports, Despite the intervention of the Students' Union Caretaker Committee (SU-CTC) of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS), for installing water taps and repairing electric sockets to improve the welfare state of the residents in Zamfara Hostel. Several students complained about the lack of the project outcome in meeting its demands. A 300-level Law student and resident of Zamfara Hostel, Abdullateef Maryam recognized the new development of the Students' Union as a bittersweet innovation for the inability of the project to meet its purpose. "It's a really good development but I don't think it's serving its purpose," she lamented.
