  UDUS Management Imposes Ban on Tinted Glass Vehicles Amidst Security Challenges  Nurudeen Abubakar (An-Nur) Reports, The management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto has on Thursday, 30 November, implemented a standing rules on the regulation of tinted-glass vehicles on campus in order to take proper precautionary measure on the alarming rate of security crisis for the safety of the university community. According to the circular released and signed by Col. A.Y. Gwandu (rtd), the university chief security officer (CSO), forbids all staff, students, and the general public from entering both university campuses (Main campus and City campus) with vehicles sporting tinted windows. The circular read: “This is to inform all staff, students, and the general public that, in consideration of the prevalent security situation in the country and the need to enhance the security and safety of the staff, students, and all other persons having any lawful activity within the University...

The environment of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), was tranquillity in the early hours of Monday, 27th November 2023, English and Literary students were serenely receiving their lectures, until an article about a 300-level student politician was published . 

  It will be mournful not to educate and illuminate the role of Campus journalists as everyone is now a writer, either skilfully or with AI. It's imperative for students to create a serene campus environment by being the eyes and ears of the University community. This article briefly expound the role of Campus journalists in higher institutions.  

 FSS-UDUS Sets To Hold Annual National Conference    Hameed Mubarak reports, The Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS), Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS), has scheduled to hold her 8th annual national conference at the University's auditorium, UDUS Permanent site, On Monday 27th November 2023, 10:00 am prompt  In an invitation flyer released by the Chairman of the event, Prof. Jimoh Amzat, to the general public, the conference is themed; "DISASTERS AND THEIR MANAGEMENT:  THE SOCIAL SCIENCE PERSPECTIVES" while Professor Lawal Suleiman Bilbis, Vice Chancellor of UDUS is the chief host of the conference, and the host, Prof. C.
