The Callous Heart

A stony heart is an insensitive one, with a ruthless, merciless soul, lacks empathy and sympathy. A heart that can destroy, dump, raze and rub out a living organism in an inept and graceless way is nothing but a callous heart. Children are gifts, an amazing blessing from God. Every single day we may find ourselves doing a lot for our kids, loving and caring for them, nurturing, teaching, training, helping, leading, equipping, encouraging, protecting, and so much more.

Marriage is done for several reasons but one of the most important ones is to get offspring that will succeed one after death. Many have spent colossal resources, time, money and efforts, but yet no positive outcome. Couples have lost happiness in their relationship, due to the inability to get offspring after several years of marriage, the trials and downfall of the tribulation faced in our world today are a result of past actions.

How will one explain, finding a fetus dumped in a University community, where millions out there are crying heavily to get one, seeking God mercies. Such a person is nothing but a callous heart. You are not ready to be a mother but open legs for unprotected sexual intercourse, and end up garbage an innocent life, whose blood as of no bearing and distance in heaven but only crying for help, what a heartless soul?

The University setting is made solely on curbing all forms of immoral acts among students. What will one tell about the effort of the University management to see this shameful act on campus? Then the efforts are fruitless, as the same are not comprehended. The trashing of innocent souls has now been the other of the day in our contemporary society, as its stands as predominant practice.

Many have forgone their primary assignment on campus. Infidelity has been their priority, while abortion is their weekly bread. If that is the only gift of the womb God destined to you, How will you explain yourself to Him? You don't even mind of the danger involved. Our dear parents are out there struggling for our upbringing and daily needs. Why not inform them you have chosen fornication, as your career work and stop troubling the virtuous soul.

No religion subscribe to the annihilation of an innocent soul, talkless of an unmatched one. Once a fetus is conceived, it has the right to life. The holy book makes it clear that all life is sacred. It is never permissible to terminate a gestation because of one fears of deficiency. God is the Provider and Sustainer of all life.

Allah says in the holy book that: “...kill not your children because of poverty-We provide sustenance for you and them." The Holy Bible also attestation to that fact where it reads: “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me, receives not me but he who sent me.”

Children are blessed by Almighty God and all such blessings should be accepted with joy and gratitude. It should be a cause of celebration, happiness and not trash. There are many today who are not able to have one. Children as a trust given to parents by God are to be well-fed, well-groomed, properly dressed for seasons and appearance. Their hearts must be filled with faith and their minds entertained with proper guidance, knowledge, and wisdom and not be destroyed, terminated or exorcized mercilessly by our doltish actions.

Each of us is a shepherd and each is responsible for his flock.  The ruler is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock.  A man is the shepherd of his family and is responsible for his flock.  A woman is the shepherd of her husband’s household and is responsible for her flock. My dear sisters, let call ourselves to order for we will be questioned for our actions.
