Ghazali Ibrahim reports, In a bid to enhance distance learning education, the management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto has unveiled a new e-learning programme system named Center for Open and Distance Learning, CODE. This was made known to the public through the official Twitter handle of the University today. The information reads: "The CODE is an organ of the University responsible for providing access to quality higher education at affordable cost with great flexibility through ODL". The Centre uses an e-learning platform as its teaching mode and provides a minimal physical interaction between the learners and the facilitators.
