Inside UDUS: CED-UDUS Launches Photography Unit, Commence Operation

Under the Directorship of Prof. Maryam Koko, the Center for Entrepreneurship Development (CED), Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS), launched a Photography Unit on 15th June 2023, and began operation of snapping and editing.


The Center is aimed at meeting the needs of the UDUS students and building them up with several skills and opportunities for their well-being before and during their life after school.


 The Photography Unit is another unit in the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development, Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, that deals with Photography and Editing Training.


In an exclusive interview with GAMJI PRESS, Malik Audu Garba, the Head of Photography and Editing Trainers, told the reporter that the unit also offers photoshoot services and not only training, and their services are affordable.

In his words, he said: "The unit also offers photoshoot services like Weddings, Birthdays, Modelling, Portrait Shots, Commercial shots, indoor and outdoor shoots, and any other Events. Currently, our special offer services are on and at a very affordable price."


He also advised Danfodites and many others to learn and acquire new skills, and it is an opportunity for every student to have a mindset on a particular skill for their successful well-being.


"I want to advise Danfodites and not only them but also to every individual that finds themselves in an environment where there are opportunities to learn and acquire a new skill, let them try and get a trade certificate, that will also widen their experience in a particular skill. 


"All Danfodites should become people with great vision to see beyond what is actually in front of them like the sayings 'opportunity comes but once,' so this is an opportunity for every Danfodites to have a mindset on a particular skill," he said.
