Gamji Poetry: Love’s enchantment

By Musa Aminah

Love is like a wild river,

flowing freely through our hearts.

It can make us feel like we're going crazy,

possessed, or even dreaming.

But amidst all the confusion,

there's a sweet smile that lingers

whenever we recall the moments

we spent together.

It's a smile that dances in our solitude,

bringing warmth to our souls.

You know, sometimes love can be so powerful,

it feels like a spell,

casting its enchantment upon us.

We seek answers,

visiting doctors and wise men,

hoping they can diagnose what's happening within us.

But in the end, they all point to the same thing - love.

And oh, the music of your voice!

It sings to me even in my sleep,

like a lullaby that cradles my dreams.

It's as if your words have become a part of me,

woven into the very fabric of my being.

So, my dear friend,

embrace this love that fills your heart.

Let it guide you on this beautiful journey,

even if it feels like a whirlwind at times.

And remember,

you're not alone in this.

Love has a way of touching us all

in its own mysterious and magical way.
