Gamji Poetry : Love’s Tempest

By Musa Amina

In an empty room, as I sit alone,

Thoughts of you dance like fireflies in my mind.

I once believed it was love, but now it's clear,

I'm caught in a whirlwind of emotions, spinning like a tornado.

Please, never leave me, for without you,

I am a ship lost at sea, adrift and directionless.

I am already captivated by you, our hearts intertwined like vines,

Growing stronger since the day we met.

Some may say I'm possessed, but love,

Like a wild gust of wind, cannot be tamed or contained.

Every day, my only prayer is for you to be mine,

Like a shooting star granting my deepest desires.

My love, please be mine forever,

As I long to be in your arms eternally, like two souls entwined in an everlasting dance.

Your smiles are the epitome of triumph,

Like a radiant sunrise after a stormy night.

With you, my love, I dream of building a castle of love,

Where we can reside together, our love reigning supreme like a majestic kingdom.
