Danfodiyo Varsity Reschedules Working Hours for Ramadan

The management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto has on Monday, March 11, rescheduled its working hours for all activities in respect of the ongoing fasting period (Ramadan).

The information was contained in a circular released from the information and public relations unit, office of the vice chancellor and signed by University public relations officer, Ismaila Muhammad Yauri on 11th March 2024.

According to the circular released, the changes in the working hour will be effective  from Monday, March 11th, which is equivalent to the first day of Ramadan, and will be revert back to normal period immediately after the observance of Ramadan.

 “This is to inform all members of the university community that with effect from Monday, 11th March 2024 the first day of Ramadan, the following official working hours will be observed till the end of the Ramadan fasting period. Mondays to Thursdays 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm", the circular reads.

However, the new directives direct staff(s) and faculties to work from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Mondays to Thursdays. While Friday's working hours will run from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.

 Regular working hours will resume immediately after the holy month of Ramadan concludes.
