United they stand and fight, their tongues a symphony,

They battle for their motherland, a fearless fraternity.

Day and night, they guard her borders, defying death's call,

Brothers bound, like a broom sweeping away all.


As strong as a soldier, yet vulnerable as the cause,

Thoughts of death fleeting, their focus on the applause.

Oh, how I wish their valor would forever be revered,

Sacrificing all, their motherland's safety endeared.


In deserts, they endure, quenching a thirst for justice,

Through treacherous forests, their bravery never ceases.

Facing the enemy, with chests full of strength and love,

Leaving their families behind, protecting all they hold above.


So, why not honor those who shield us with their lives?

Let their valor shine, as our gratitude thrives.

This implies that emotional states such as anger and being upset are the primary cause of almost all illnesses. Verdict: UNPROVED! No credible scientific evidence or publication from official public-health organizations supports such the claim .  Full Text: On 17th May, 2024, a viral post published by Doctor of The Future , a facebook page with more than 460,000 followers, claimed that more than 95–percent of all diseases are caused by bad mood or anger. UDUS Unveils Center for Open and Distance Education, CODE for E-learning Programmes

Ghazali Ibrahim reports, In a bid to enhance distance learning education, the management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto has unveiled a new e-learning programme system named Center for Open and Distance Learning, CODE. This was made known to the public through the official Twitter handle of the University today. The information reads: "The CODE is an organ of the University responsible for providing access to quality higher education at affordable cost with great flexibility through ODL". The Centre uses an e-learning platform as its teaching mode and provides a minimal physical interaction between the learners and the facilitators. It offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as well as professional certificates.
