Gamji Poetry: An ode to unity   By Musa Aminah  I wish to wake up one day And see my motherland become a symphony of thoughts Where our minds dance with diverse melodies, harmonizing as one Where we cast aside the boundaries of regions and tribes, and speak as children of the same soil Where Amaka, Ajibola, and Danladi wield swords of justice Where Rukayat and Ruth stand as guardians of Osunfunke's honor Where we unite in the battle for true democracy, regardless of the language on our tongues Where "Unity and justice, peace and progress" become more than just words A nation where love blossoms like a garden in full bloom A nation where every voice holds the power to govern A nation where equality is woven into the fabric of our existence A nation where one man's words echo the hopes of all Where the divide between the poor and the rich dissolves like morning mist A nation where the law stands tall, above every soul I wish to wake up one day and witness a nation where...

Gamji Poetry: Eternal Longing  By Musa Aminah Can I love you like a shooting star streaking across the night sky? Can I confess the depths of my heart's desires? For your beauty enchants me, like a tale spun by folklore's fireside. I'm addicted to you, like a potion that consumes my very being. A day without glimpsing your face feels like an eternity lost in time. Always yearning to be by your side, like a sailor longing for the shore. Day and night, thoughts of you dance through my mind, a never-ending waltz. Even in slumber, our dreams intertwine, painting a tapestry of our love. I wonder if you share the same sentiments, if our hearts beat in harmony. Every day, I pray for your love to mirror mine, a symphony of emotions. No matter the obstacles, I'm willing to traverse rivers and scale walls for you. Love, they say, is a curse, and now I understand its grip on my soul. Love, like a persistent cough, refuses to be contained or silenced. Your charms bewitch me, like a...

Gamji Poetry: Heroes of the homeland   Musa Aminah  United they stand and fight, their tongues a symphony, They battle for their motherland, a fearless fraternity. Day and night, they guard her borders, defying death's call, Brothers bound, like a broom sweeping away all. As strong as a soldier, yet vulnerable as the cause, Thoughts of death fleeting, their focus on the applause. Oh, how I wish their valor would forever be revered, Sacrificing all, their motherland's safety endeared. In deserts, they endure, quenching a thirst for justice, Through treacherous forests, their bravery never ceases. Facing the enemy, with chests full of strength and love, Leaving their families behind, protecting all they hold above. So, why not honor those who shield us with their lives? Let their valor shine, as our gratitude thrives.
